Do you have a tattoo idea you’d like to contact us about? Being prepared with the details will help both you and our artists to make sure you get the outcome you are looking for with an accurate quote for time and cost.
When you are ready to reach out to us, there are some basic pieces of information we will need. For more complicated pieces, a consultation may be the best course of action for you. When you contact us via our website, by phone, or by email, our studio associate will look over the information you gave and contact you regarding your inquiry. It’s then when it will be decided if a consult is needed or not. The information you’ll be asked to provide are below.
If it is determined that a consult may be needed, be prepared to share whatever details you feel are important with your artist so that they can plan out your tattoo.
If you need to show reference images, please keep in mind that Lucky Bamboo Tattoo is a custom studio and none of the artists will copy another artists existing work with the few exceptions of known logos (sports, musicians, etc) or a known symbol (Harry Potter dark mark, etc). Even in those cases, having a variation of the known piece might be a great way to make yours unique! Be open minded!
The other exception to the copy rule is regarding something sentimental. If you want a childs drawing replicated, someone’s handwriting copied, or a pets paw print recreated, we will absolutely do that for you. We understand that is something very important to you, and we will do our best to be as accurate as possible.
Please note, we will not include cremation ashes or outside inks under any circumstance in accordance with the Health Department and for safety reasons. The artists at Lucky Bamboo Tattoo take your health and safety very seriously and we won’t compromise our standards for any reason.
One more important piece of information is that you need to be aware that you will not see your prepared art until the day of your appointment. This policy is in place for many reasons, but the main reason is to protect the artists work.
