Yeah, it’s still winter, but spring isn’t too far off! What does that mean for you? Hopefully, warmer weather, trees turning green, flowers budding, and your plans for a new tattoo!
This is the perfect time of year to get a new tattoo. Spring is that buffer before summer that gives you a few months to let your new ink completely heal up just in time to show it off. Short sleeves, shorts, no shirt, beach clothes, the pool, etc. All of these are things to plan for when thinking about your new tattoo aspirations.
Going away for a company trip? Imagine taking that top off at the pool and sporting that badass tattoo you got done across your chest during the spring? How about those sweet Norse sleeves on your arms, legs, or both?
For our college students, right now, as you read this, is the time to get a new tattoo for spring break. Not a month from now, but now. You’ll want to be fully healed before you hit the beach or pool. If you get in right away, you’ll have just enough time before break in March/April. Don’t drag your feet on this or you’ll be bummed.
When you get your new spring tattoo, make sure you follow your artists advice regarding aftercare so that you can heal properly and in the right amount of time. Make sure you use plenty of tattoo friendly sunblock, such as a non-nano zinc oxide. It will help against fading in the sunlight and will also help keep your skin moisturized and elastic!
